What Makes a Campus Training Program Actually Work
Most in-college tech training gets forgotten within a month. Here's what we've learned works differently — for schools, colleges, and the students who actually need to walk away with real skills.

The colleges that see real placement gains don't run a one-off two-day workshop and call it done. They build a semester-long track: fundamentals first, then a project students actually ship, then mock interviews with real feedback. We've found three things matter most. First, cohort size — anything past 40 students per mentor and the individual feedback loop breaks down. Second, hands-on ratio — students should be writing code or building something in at least 70% of session time, not watching slides. Third, a visible outcome — a demo day, a portfolio piece, or a certification that means something to a recruiter.
