A Day in the Life of a DELLYTELABS Mentee

Morning: standup and focused work
Most cohorts start around 9am with a quick standup — everyone shares what they're stuck on, not just what they finished. Then it's 2-3 hours of focused work: problem sets for the DSA track, or building on a project for the AI Agent track. Mentors circulate the whole time instead of just holding scheduled office hours.
Afternoon: 1-on-1s and project time
After lunch, each student gets a scheduled 1-on-1 slot roughly twice a week — 15-20 minutes to walk through what's blocking them, one-on-one, not in front of the group. The rest of the afternoon is project time, usually with a partner or in a small group, working toward that week's milestone.
Evening: demos and the group chat
On Fridays, whoever wants to shows a quick demo of what they built that week — no pressure, just five minutes and a few questions from the group. Outside of that, most cohorts end up with an informal group chat where people share job postings, debug each other's code at 11pm, and generally keep each other honest about showing up the next morning.
